Amigos Of Dave Rap Up And Results

The Amigos of Dave Bike Day took place at Nerang Skatepark on the Gold Coast on the 1st of May, and by any measure it was a great success. The turnout was fantastic, lots of money was raised to help out with Dave’s medical bills, and some amazing riding went down.
Both Pro Street and Pro Bowl were hotly contested, with close to 40 riders vying for the $3500 in prize money on the line.

All in all, the day raised close to $15,000, all of which will go directly to funding the costs of David Montoya’s medical bills. Dave is currently dealing with a brain tumour, and the Amigos of Dave group was formed to help raise awareness of Dave’s struggle, and to contribute to the significant medical bills Dave and his family are facing for treatment of the tumour.
